It isn’t pretty, but at least it can be used again. I put a screen protector sheet over the smashed screen so that I can now move my finger over it without cutting it to shreds. It is functional, but not very nice to look at.
Roll on iPad 3 I say!
I’ve been thinking about what else to put on my old Dell Axim. Emulation seems obvious, well to me it does anyway. I still have a Mac System 7 emulation app somewhere around the place, so I may try that.
The other thing I’d like to do is to populate it with a bunch of my own ‘mini’ apps made with Basic4ppc. That might take a bit longer though.
And non-jailbroken? No, it’s for real. An app called Launch Center allows you to run a number of automations with stuff like texts and tweets and launching apps. I’m going to give it a go and see just how useful it is. One thing I do know is that it isn’t anything like as good as Android Tasker, but it is a very small step in the right direction for iOS.
